End User Licence Agreement

This agreement applies to everyone who posts anything in NeverDiveAlone or contacts another person through it. It exists so the app stays safe to use.

Zero tolerance

You must not post, send, or do any of the following:

• Threats, harassment, stalking, or intimidation of anyone
• Hate speech, or attacks on a person's race, ethnicity, religion, disability, sex, gender, or sexual orientation
• Sexual content, nudity, or any sexual approach to a person who has not invited it
• Anything involving a child in a sexual way — we report this to the authorities
• Violence, or encouraging anyone to hurt themselves or others
• Pretending to be another person, or faking a diving certification, qualification, or experience level
• Spam, scams, or trying to get money out of other users
• Sharing another person's private information without their permission
• Anything illegal

Lying about your diving experience

This is the one that can get somebody killed. Misrepresenting your certification level, your logged dives, or your fitness to dive is a permanent ban, first time, no appeal.

Blocking someone

You can block any user from their profile. A blocked user cannot contact you, see your posts, or appear in your matches. You do not have to give a reason and they are not told.

Reporting something

Every diver profile and every chat has a Report control. Use it. You can also email davidlittle.net@gmail.com.

What we do about reports

Removed users are not allowed to come back with a new account. There is no obligation on us to reinstate an account.

Diving safety is still yours

Moderating this app does not make diving safe. We do not verify anyone's certification or competence. Check your buddy yourself, every time.
