NeverDiveAlone helps scuba divers find a dive buddy and log their dives. This page explains exactly what the app does with your information. It covers NeverDiveAlone on iPhone, iPad and Android (com.neverdivealone.app).

The short version

• You need an account, so we hold your email address and what you put in your profile.
• We do not sell your personal information, and we never have.
• We do not show third-party ads inside the app.

What the app asks permission for

You can refuse or withdraw any of these in your device settings. Parts of the app that need them will stop working; the rest will not.

What leaves your phone, and who receives it

Your location	Supabase	to match you with divers and dive sites nearby
Your profile, dive logs and any photos you upload	Supabase	so they persist and so other divers can see what you choose to share

These companies process that information to provide their service to us. They are not permitted to use it to build a profile of you or to sell it.

What stays on your phone

• Your sign-in session, so you stay logged in

Deleting the app removes all of it.

Where your account data is held

Supabase hosts the account database, sign-in and any photos you upload. They hold it on our behalf under their own security and privacy terms.

Your choices

• See or correct your data. Most of it is editable in the app. Email us for the rest.
• Delete your account. Email us and we will delete the account and its contents within 30 days.
• Take your data with you. Email us and we will send you a copy in a portable format.
• Withdraw a permission at any time in your device settings.

If you are in the EEA, the UK, or a US state with a privacy statute such as California, you have rights to access, correct, delete and port your personal information, and to object to certain processing. Email davidlittle.net@gmail.com and we will answer within 30 days. We do not charge for this and we will not treat you differently for asking.

Children

NeverDiveAlone is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child has given us information, email us and we will delete it.

Changes

If this policy changes in a way that affects what we do with your information, we will change the date at the top and, where the change is significant, tell you in the app before it takes effect.
